As a gynaecologist myself I was very aware of how complex my surgery would be due to my condition and my high body weight. Having worked with Dr Tava, I had first hand knowledge of his professionalism and surgical skill so I knew I would be in safe hands. Even though I work in a hospital it was my first time to be admitted he gently helped my family and I through my journey as a patient. I was on my feet in less than 12 hours able to eat and drink with no difficulty and my wound healed beautifully after a big laparotomy.
